About Us

Our life together as a Christian Community revolves around three fundamental principles:

1.  We worship Almighty God joyfully, reverently and beautifully.

2.  We are faithful to historic biblical Christianity, taught in a way that helps us make sense of our day-to-day-lives.

3.  We take the command of Christ to love one another as He loved us seriously; an environment of mutual care and support is a priority with us.

St. Margaret's is a warm, welcoming, and active parish.  It is easy for a newcomer to feel included and involved very quickly.  We are growing in numbers, but we never want to lose this personal quality.

St. Margaret's is an active parish!  We praise God through our choir, musicians, altar guild, acolytes, lectors, lay readers, ushers, teachers, cooks, cleaning crew and grounds maintenance crew.  We have small bible study groups, an active intercessory prayer ministry, special events, youth and children's ministries, and fellowship opportunities for families.

Reaching out to our community, St. Margaret's is a host church for Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Here Today Gone Tomorrow (Thrift Store), Dave Ramsey's financial series, the Angel Tree project, the Food Bank and community blood drives.  A highlight of our summer program is Vacation Bible School.

St. Margaret's has typically been described as a loving, caring community.  We are a happy, medium-sized conservative congregation, open to being flexible.  Our membership is a wide range of ages.

A Capital Campaign in 2001 resulted in remodeling and refurbishing our present worship and administrative space, and constructing a striking new Parish Hall and meeting spaces.
