Episcopal Church
Worship with Us

Our form of worship is the Holy Eucharist (also known as the Mass, the Holy Communion, and the Lord's Supper), according to Rite II of the Book of Common Prayer

The 8am service has no music and is a traditional service.  The 10am service is hymns, choruses, and instrumental music.  The Adult Choir normally sings at this service.

The tone we strive for in worship might be described as warm and spirit filled.  The liturgy lifts our hearts toward God's majestic throne, a movement that is aided by the sample use of traditional Christian sacred objects, sacred space, song, movement, and posture.  At the same time, it reminds us of our communion with one another in Christ and that we are a family gathered at the family meal.

The presence of children at the Eucharist is welcomed and encouraged.  We try to foster a Christ like feeling and the enjoyment of what we are doing.  We use the Episcopal hymnal and contemporary pieces for our music.

Holy Communion is a sacrament ('an outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual grace') of a Christian's participation in the life-giving Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.  All those who seek a deeper relationship with God and knowledge of Jesus Christ are welcome to receive Communion at St. Margaret's.
