About St. Margaret’s Children’s Ministry
Sunday School every Sunday during the 10am Service
St. Margaret’s Children’s Ministry is a joyful, Christ-centered ministry focused on helping children and families grow in faith, fellowship, worship, and service. Through meaningful relationships, engaging programming, and family-centered discipleship, we strive to create a welcoming environment where children feel loved, included, and excited to learn about God.
We are passionate about helping children actively participate in the life of the Church and grow in confidence as followers of Christ.
Our ministry offers weekly Sunday School with age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, activities, and prayer, as well as opportunities for children to serve in worship through acolyting, scripture readings, greeting, and music at our special Children’s Services held throughout the year. These services allow children to take ownership of their faith while actively participating in worship alongside the wider congregation.
We also place a strong emphasis on helping families bring faith into the home. Through the support of the Little Box of Good News grant, we provide families with faith-based boxes filled with scripture activities, resources, and hands-on tools designed to encourage discipleship beyond Sunday mornings. These materials are also incorporated into our Sunday School curriculum to reinforce weekly lessons and support continued spiritual growth at home.
In addition to Sunday programming, our Children’s Ministry hosts seasonal events and fellowship opportunities throughout the year, including Easter celebrations, Trunk or Treat, holiday events, family gatherings, and community activities designed to strengthen relationships and create joyful experiences for children and parents alike.
As our ministry continues to grow, we remain committed to creating opportunities for children and families to connect, serve, worship, and deepen their relationship with Christ both inside and outside the walls of the church.
