At St. Margaret’s, we believe that scripture clearly teaches us that we are called to invite all to his church (Isaiah 56:7 and Matthew 28:19) and that God welcomes all of us to worship him together (Acts 10:34-35 and Galatians 3:28). Likewise, as St. Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 12 (and in many other places), we are all connected in one body of Christ to share in our gifts from the Holy Spirit.

Our Invite, Welcome, Connect ministry is specifically focused on fulfilling the prayer from the Didache: “As this broken bread was scattered upon the mountains and being gathered became one, so may your church be gathered together from the ends of the earth into your kingdom.” We focus on bringing together the scattered and diverse communities around us into one people to love God and love neighbor.
