Maggie's Ladies want to deepen and nurture the spiritual life of the women at St. Margaret's through worship of God, glorification of Christ, and presenting of Christ to the world. We aim to enlist women's active participation in ministering to people inside and outside the church.
Our vision, for all women of St. Margaret's Church, is that we become a vibrant blend of all ages, coming together as a peacemaking, healing part of the church. We aspire to be God's Spark - shining and sharing the love of Christ. The role of women in the church and the world continues to change, and that impacts the heart and soul of Episcopal Church Women. We recognized that the focus and activities would have to develop and grow to adjust to those changes.
St. Margaret's women are involved in a variety of activities. Some of these are:
- Diocesan ECW events and dinners/potlucks together
- Annual vision boards
- Supporting/assisting the Children's Ministry
- Altar Guild
- Secret Sisters Outreach
- Book/Bible study
- Ladies/Parish Annual Retreat
- Monthly lunches after church
- Plus special occasion activities like palm crosses for Palm Sunday services, along with retreat activities.
We enjoy supporting each other and just being together.
