Rooted in the call to “walk humbly, do justice, and love mercy,” the Young Adult Ministry (YAM) is a welcoming, Christ-centered community for young adults ages 18–40 seeking connection, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

Whether you are new to the area, exploring your faith, or looking for a place to belong, YAM offers a low-commitment, casual space for authentic community, meaningful relationships, and shared life in Christ.

We gather regularly through relaxed monthly events, including fellowship nights, shared meals, coffee hours, service projects, seasonal celebrations, and collaborative events with other ministries. From crawfish boils to Agape Feasts, our events are designed to build joyful community rooted in hospitality, service, and faith.

We believe spiritual growth happens in worship, around tables, through conversation, and in serving together. YAM is open to all young adults who want to grow in faith, build friendships, and journey together at St. Margaret’s.

Meet our YAM Leaders

Chris & Kylee Hebert

Chris and Kylee Hebert serve together in St. Margaret’s Young Adult Ministry (YAM), where they are passionate about building community and helping young adults grow in faith, friendship, and discipleship. They have been attending St. Margaret’s for over three years and are deeply involved in the life of the church.

Kylee serves as the Children’s Ministry Director and has a lifelong background in children’s ministry, with a heart for helping kids and families grow in their faith. Chris is actively involved in multiple areas of church leadership, serving on the Vestry and leading our Thursday Evening Prayer, along with other ministries across the church.

Together, they enjoy creating welcoming, Christ-centered spaces for others and walking alongside young adults as they navigate life, marriage, and faith. They live locally with their 3-year-old son and are excited to continue serving the St. Margaret’s community.
