Brant Lewis

Originally from Shreveport, Brant grew up in the Episcopal Church and was active in diocesan ministries in the Diocese of Western Louisiana. He attended Sewanee and later moved to Baton Rouge for his work as a marketing producer at WBRZ.

Brant first encountered St. Margaret’s through the parish booth at Baton Rouge Pride while searching for an affirming and inclusive church community. He quickly found a sense of belonging and believes God led him to St. Margaret’s at exactly the right time.

He is deeply involved in parish life through pastoral care, altar guild, Young Adult Ministry, PFLAG, chalice bearing, and leadership in Evening Prayer. Brant has a strong love for liturgy and pastoral ministry and values creating opportunities for others to serve and become connected.

He hopes to bring a collaborative spirit, attentive listening, and a heart for service to the Vestry.
