Rachel Young

Rachel and her husband Ross have been part of St. Margaret’s since 2019. They have two daughters, Madelyn and Vivian. Rachel works in Information Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance for a local bank.

Rachel and Ross were drawn to St. Margaret’s because they wanted a church where their daughters would grow up fully loved and accepted and where women and LGBTQ+ persons were affirmed in leadership and life. They were confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 2021.

Rachel has been deeply involved in Children’s Ministry and has taught Sunday School for many years, both at St. Margaret’s and in previous churches. She also serves on the parish Disaster Recovery Team.

Her professional background includes accounting, internal audit, governance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and organizational risk management. She enjoys collaborative problem-solving and helping organizations navigate seasons of growth and change.

Rachel brings thoughtful leadership, strong organizational skills, and a deep commitment to children and families within the parish.
