The goal of Creation Care ministry is to celebrate the beauty, mystery and sacredness of God's creation and to raise awareness both within and outside the church on the urgency and importance of caring for the environment. This means to emphasize models of ministry that incorporate protection, preservation, and sustainable use of God's creation, as well as empower people of faith to participate in the difficult work of environmental justice.

At St Margaret's, we strive to use our church property promoting green spaces around the church and in our Meditation Garden. We engage in spiritual formation providing opportunities for study through course work and webinars developed by the Center for Deep Green Faith. Nature contemplation opportunities, gardening, drum circles, celebrations such as Earth Day and the Blessing of Animals are a few ways that we seek to honor all that God has created.

Our children are engaging in rich outdoor experiences nurturing their sacred connection to God. Through all of this we find ways to worship God in our outdoor chapel of St. Francis.
